Dubai's Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has signed an agreement with Shell Company aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation in the fields of innovation, creativity and conducting researches on the green economy. The agreement was signed in Dubai by Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the board of executive directors of the RTA, and Mounir Bouaziz, president of Shell in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Al Tayer expressed RTA’s keenness on improving sustainability & green economy, and contributing to the Dubai Energy Strategy 2030 through various RTA projects. "Such endeavours are aligned with the drive of the Dubai Government in nurturing a green and sustainable environment at the highest international standards," he said.
